Obama up 10 points in NH

The national polling group Rasmussen released a poll today showing Barack Obama 10 points up on Hillary Clinton. The poll is a sampling of a little over 500 perspective Democratic Voters. According to Rasmussen, “Virtually all of the interviews for this update were conducted before final results from Iowa were known. New results will be posted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Eastern.”

The results are as follows:

Obama- 37%

Clinton- 27%

Edwards- 19%

This is undeniably big news for the Obama camp as the Iowa bump had not taken hold yet. Let’s hope  for two things, one being that when the bump comes it puts Obama further up and that it can hold through to Tuesday as the candidates descend on the small towns of New Hampshire looking for converts.

The Rasmussen report is below:

Other news sources are still reporting Obama trailing, with a CNN poll putting Clinton at 34 percent and Obama at 30 percent.
